The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years experience working with Defined Contribution Plans (401k, 403b, and ESOPs), preferably using the Relius software administration system. This team member will work directly with clients, and serve as a contact person on a number of administrative issues, consequently, exceptional communication skills are a must. The completion and/or enrollment in such professional courses as ASPPA and/or CEBS is a plus.
The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year experience working with DB and/or OPEB plans. This position will work directly with actuarial staff, and have some direct client contact. This position will work with benefit calculations, census data, asset reconciliation, government filings and other tasks as needed. As experience develops, this position should move to greater responsibility in DB and/or OPEB valuations. Opportunity for career advancement. Experience in Word and Excel. We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Actuary who is eager to come grow with our expanding practice.
The ideal candidate should:Be knowledgeable with ERISA and defined benefit IRC regulations. Be able to multi-task with little supervision. Have thorough knowledge in the preparation of Actuarial Valuations, FASB and GASB accounting reports, special studies, and miscellaneous projects.
Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to deliver client reports and lead client presentations. Possess the ability to work with clients' plan design, funding analysis, and other related plan issues. Be able to assist in marketing and client development.
Requirements include:Designations of Enrolled Actuary, Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA). At least 3-5 years of experience working for a Benefits Consulting firm.
